This website works best with modern browsers such as the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. Mendeley is a free reference manager and an. If you prefer to use Chrome or Safari as your browser, and don’t want to use Firefox, it might be better to use Mendeley, because Zotero works best as a Firefox extension. The Mendeley web interface is probably the most intuitive, out of the three citation managers. Mendeley was created as a collaborative tool and has more social media. Either change to 'Standard' privacy or add www.mendeley.com and www.elsevier.com to the 'Exceptions' if you choose 'Strict' or 'Custom' privacy.
